Mount Ossa (Greece)

Ossa (Greek Όσσα, also Kissavos Κίσσαβος ) is the name of a mountain in Ostthessalien.

The mountain is located southeast of the Tempetals and is 1,978 m high. The base is covered with forest, the summit is a bare rock pyramid.

Just below the summit there is a cave, which was consecrated to the nymphs.
