Mount Pleasant Radio Observatory

The Mount Pleasant Radio Observatory is an astronomical research facility of the University of Tasmania for Radio Astronomy in Australia.

It is located about 20 kilometers east of the capital of Tasmania, Hobart, in 42 meters height and hosts two radio telescopes, the " Mount Pleasant Antenna" with 26 meters in diameter and the " Vela Antenna" with 14 meters in diameter. Both also belong to the Very Long Baseline Interferometry Network Australia.
