Mount Saint Helena

Mount Saint Helena is a mountain in California and part of the Mayacamas Mountains. With 1,319 meters it is the highest point in Sonoma County. There are four other peaks of the second highest directly east of the main summit is the highest point of Napa County.

Originally the mountain after mountain Mount Mayacamas was called. A Russian expedition brought in 1841 a copper plaque on the summit, which coined the currently valid name.
