Mount Sanqing

The mountains Sanqing Shan (三清山), which is also known under the name Shaohua Shan少 华山, is a famous mountain of Taoism. It is north of Bingxi (冰 溪镇) in the Chinese province of Jiangxi in the border area of the two circles Yushan and Dexing of the prefecture-level city of Shangrao. Its three main summit hot Yujing玉 京( 1,817 m), Yuxu玉虚and Yuhua玉华. The mountain range is protected as a National Park.

In Daoist works, it is considered one of the " Seventy-two happy places " ( Qishi'er fudi七 十二 福地) refers.

In the time of the Eastern Jin Dynasty ( 317-420 ) of the Daoist scholar and alchemist Ge Hong (approx. 281-341 ) self-cultivation practiced here and found immortality pills ( Liandan ) ago.

In 2008, the National Park as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
