Mount Suhora Observatory

The Astronomical Observatory Suhora, poln Obserwatorium astronomiczne na Suhorze, Eng. Mount Suhora Observatory is an astronomical observatory of the faculty of the University of Krakow. It is located in 1009 m altitude on the mountain Suhora that belongs to the Gorce Mountains, about 50 km south of Krakow.

The observatory was founded on November 5, 1987, built to a design by R. Walczykiewicz. It is equipped with a 60 - cm -Cassegrain reflecting telescope, which can be operated with a photometer or a CCD camera.
