Mount Telomoyo
Road at Telomoyo
Telomoyo (also Telemoyo, Indonesian Gunung Telomoyo ) is an active stratovolcano on the Indonesian island of Java, in the province of Central Java.
The Telomoyo lies in a series of volcanoes that (2050 meters) begins in the north- north-west to the south-southeast Ungaran and with the Merbabu ( 3145 meters) and Mount Merapi continues ( 2968 meters). The latter is regularly broken in the past centuries.
The Telomoyo last erupted in the Holocene. He rises to the south of a U-shaped valley that was created during the collapse of the eastern flank of the now- eroded volcano Soropati in the Pleistocene, and reaches a height of 600 meters above the rim of the sink.
