Mount Wrangell is a volcano in the southeast of the U.S. state of Alaska near the Canadian Yukon Territory. The 4317 m high mountain located in the Wrangell Mountains.

Wrangell is the only volcano in the Wrangell Volcanic Belt ( " Wrangell volcanic belt " ), who had historically recorded eruptions, mostly small smoke and ash explosions. The amount of geothermal heat, which radiates the volcano has increased since the 1950s, which increases the possibility of a future eruption.
