Mourenx
Mourenx is a commune with 6998 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Pyrénées- Atlantiques in the Aquitaine region. The community was first formed in 1957. It is located in the canton in the Arrondissement Lagor Pau.
Geography
The city lies on the River Bayse about two kilometers before its confluence with the Gave de Pau. Other rivers that traverse the municipality, are the Luzouré and Geue.
