Moustache wax

Moustache Wax is a traditional cosmetic product for the man. It resembles the pomade, but is specifically the care of the mustache.

Moustache Wax is offered as a finished product in tubes. When applied it is by being rubbed with the index finger in his beard ( Bartwichsen ). The beard becomes soft and malleable and can be shaped into the desired form, twirled.

Moustache Wax itself can be produced by a simple recipe: Mix together in a water in equal parts beeswax and petroleum jelly and let it cool before using. More complex recipes can gum arabic, soap, fragrances and dyes.
