Movement for France

Mouvement pour la France (MPF, Movement for France) is a parliamentary party in France with national conservative EU - skeptical, souveränistischer and Christian- democratic orientation. It was founded on November 20, 1994 due to the support of the Maastricht Treaty by the bourgeois-liberal coalition of politicians UDF UDF. Is chaired by Philippe de Villiers.

Your delegates are representatives traditionally conservative dialing regions. Stronghold of the party is the conservative Atlantikdépartment Vendée, which was reflected particularly in the results of the European elections in 2004. For national elections, the party wants to remain independent of the UMP, but is willing to make with this party and with other local elections alliances. MPF was recorded in particular in the European elections results; in the European Parliament, it is part of the Independence and Democracy Group. In the European elections in 2009 she appeared on the list of pan-European party Libertas. The list could win three seats.

In the French political spectrum MPF is to the right of the UMP, but is not counted in contrast to the National Front for the extreme right.
