Mozelos is a municipality of the city of Santa Maria da Feira in Portugal. It consists of 5.8 square kilometers and has 7126 inhabitants (as at 30 June 2011). The population density is 1227 people per square kilometer.

There is a document from the year 1097, after the town was then called " Moazellus ". The legend continues that the name of an old lady of French origin Madamemoiselle comes, who lived there, was derived. As time was of Madamemoiselle Moazellus, later Mozelos.

A remnant of a part of a Roman road passes through the village. It is believed that this road had a connection with the Alto Minho and further led to Galicia.

One of the most famous sons of the community was the doctor Manuel Laranjeira. He is known for his publications on the politics of the time.

Mozelos today is still the focal point in the production of Portuguese cork products. Américo Amorim, one of the founders of the company Amorim & Irmão was born here in 1934. He is the world's indisputably the most important businessman in this area and currently the richest man in Portugal.
