Mozirje

  • Mozirje ( German: Prassberg ) is a municipality in the Spodnja Štajerska region in Slovenia.

In the overall community composed of eight villages around 4087 inhabitants. In the city Mozirje alone there are 1969 inhabitants. Mozirje lies with the ski resort of Mount Golte ( 1573m ) in the Upper Savinja. On the Golte drives Slovenia's longest aerial tramway. The municipality wrung after the March Revolution of 1848, the first Slovene-speaking community management

Worth seeing is a 6 -hectare botanical garden with an open air museum.
