MPD (programming language)
MPD is a programming language created for parallel programming and its syntax in the book Foundations of Multithreaded, Parallel, and Distributed Programming (whose title was also named after the language ) is presented. The name also describes at the same time supported by their techniques of parallel programming.
MPD is implemented as a variation of SR (programming language).
MPD programs can be executed on individual processors, shared-memory multiprocessors or clusters of identical processors. It supports a variety of processors and Unix systems.
