Mpiemo (also Bimu, Mbimou, Mbimu, Mbyemo, Mpo and Mpyemo ) is a Bantu language and is spoken by about 29,000 people in the Central African Republic, Cameroon and the Republic of Congo.

It is in the Central African Republic in the economy Prefecture Sangha Mbaéré with about 24,000 speakers ( census 1996), in Cameroon in Boumba -et- Ngoko district in the province of Estonia with about 5000 speakers ( 1991 Census ) and the Republic of Congo isolated in the region Sangha spread.

Mpiemo is written in the Latin script.

Classification

Mpiemo is a Northwest Bantu language and belongs to Makaa - Njem group that is classified as Guthrie Zone A80.

She has the dialects Jasoa (also Jasua ) Bidjuki (also Bidjouki ) and Mpyemo. Most speakers use the dialect Jasoa.
