Mr. Do!

Mr. Do! is a series of computer game classics, which were first developed in 1982 as an arcade game by Universal and published by Taito. The games belong to the genre of labyrinth games ( Maze ) and are similar to the principle of Dig Dug.

Game Description

The player controls the character of the clown Mr. Do and have to collect cherries at different underground labyrinth systems, and dodge monsters, or destroy them. It can be horizontal and vertical tunnels excavated. In addition to the cherries are also apples in the maze, but they are not collected. This fall down as soon as a transition among them is dug and ideally kill monsters that are lower, or even Mr. Do yourself The apples can be moved. The monsters can also be destroyed by a Powerball, the player may discard a button. But it is only a Powerball available, so you must wait until it returns to the character. The monsters also leave foods that can be collected as a bonus.

The level is completed when either collected all the cherries, destroys all opponents, the five letters EXTRA ( = extra life ) or a diamond was found. The screen shows the current level as the existing tunnel in the form of a large number of (first level D, then numbers 2-9, and 0). After every third level, a cutscene will appear.

Monster

The standard Monster is a red mini- dinosaur that can only move in the aisles. Later, however, he turns into a Digger, which can also dig tunnels. Then there are the blue Muncher which may additionally eat apples, as well as the Alpha monsters (letters).
