Action
The successful in the 1950s comedian Buddy Young Junior has only less lucrative gigs. In the flashbacks shows how the Jewish brothers Buddy and Stan occur before the relatives. When they are to occur on the real stage, Stan gets doubt and taking a step backwards. Buddy appears as Buddy Young Junior on its own. His number is not amused the audience at first, but then when he improvises, he brings the audience laugh.
Buddy begins a career as a comedian, his brother Stan accompanies him. Stan gives the brother even contacts with attractive women from the audience. Buddy has problems with his daughter.
After years Stan Buddy accuses of having wasted one's life for his brother. Buddy tells him that Stan got by the proximity of a star in the first place a life. In the end, Buddy reconciled with his daughter and his brother.
