MS Expedition

The expedition is an expedition to the cruise ship converted old ferry. Was built the ship in 1972 in Denmark.

In winter 2008/2009 the ship has been specially converted into a expedition cruise ship for use in polar regions. It is used by the Canadian Cruise Lines CAP Adventures. From June to September 2009, it was chartered to Hurtigruten and was used for expedition cruises to Spitsbergen.

The ship, which was as a ferry between Sweden, Åland and Finland in use before the conversion, has 58 outside cabins, in which a maximum of 120 passengers can be accommodated. All cabins are equipped with bathroom and toilet. A panoramic lounge, a restaurant and an auditorium are also equipped as a gym, a library and a bar
