MS Sans Serif

MS Sans Serif is a raster font sans serif.

It was included for the first time with Windows 1.0, then under the name Helv In Windows 3.1, the font got its present name and became the default system font in Windows 2000 it was eventually superseded by Tahoma.

Windows 2000 includes a vectorized TrueType version of this font, which is called Microsoft Sans Serif and is still used in Windows for dialog boxes. Besides Latin characters also supports Greek, Cyrillic, Hebrew, Arabic, and Thai.

Microsoft Sans Serif is also supplied with Mac OS X 10.5.
