The wind Perfection is a former ferry, operated by the Dutch company C- Bed in Hoofdorp as a residential and offshore support vessel.

History

The ship was 1981/82, built as Olau Britannia, as well as its sister ship, the Olau Hollandia, on the Weser Seebeck Werft AG shipyard in Bremerhaven for the Olau Line, a subsidiary of TT-Line.

1982-1990: Olau Britannia ( Olau Line)

The ship was from 1982 until 1990 for Olau Line on the track Vlissingen - Sheerness in use. After the success of the line Olau Line ordered in 1988 and 1989, two larger ships for the route and gave in return, the two old sister ships at the Schichau Seebeck Shipyard in payment.

In 1989, the Olau Britannia to the shipping company Fred. Olsen Lines sold, but remained the delivery of the new Olau Britannia in May 1990 on the line between Vlissingen and Sheerness. The sister ship Olau Hollandia is called now Nordlandia and is used by Eckerö Line between Helsinki and Tallinn.

1990: Bayard ( Fred. Olsen Lines )

In 1990 the ship was renamed in Bayard and rebuilt by Blohm & Voss. On 21 June 1990, the Bayard began scheduled service between Hirtshals and Kristiansand.

1990-2008: Christian IV ( Color Line )

In December 1990, the Color Line took over the ferry service from Fred. Olsen and named the ship in Christian IV. In the years 1999 and 2005 were made slight modifications, such as 2005, the cultivation of " Ducktails " to improve the stability of the ship.
