MT Melsungen

The MT Melsungen ( Melsungen Turngemeinde 1861 eV ) is a German handball club from the North Hessian town of Melsungen. The first men's team was relegated in 1992 and 2005, the second in the Bundesliga on. 1996, 2013 and 2014 the team reached the Final Four of the DHB Cup.

By Christmas 2007, the home games of the team were held in the 2,400 -seat hall Meirotels in Rotenburg an der Fulda. Since then, the home games in the 4,200 -seat Roth Brook Hall will be held in Kassel. The first game in the new building took place on 26 December 2007 at the sold-out meeting held against THW Kiel.
