MTM (group)

MTM is a Schlagerduo from Portugal. It consists of Marco Quelhas and Tony Jackson. The two represented Portugal at the Euro Vision Song Contest 2001 in Copenhagen and reached the 17th place there.

The name of the duo is derived from the first name of singer Marco and Tony, as well as music.

Members

Marco has Quelhas next to the song So be ser feliz assim, the song of the Euro Vision Song Contest, also of Portugal Post by Euro Vision Song Contest 1993 A cidade até ser dia, which reached a 10th place. He lived 15 years abroad and came back to Portugal in 1989 and appeared on TV shows.

Tony Jackson actually comes from Angola, but has long lived in Portugal. In addition to his music career, he studied medicine. He sang in TV shows, among other things, on the side of Percy Sledge.
