Organization and profile

The team was founded in 2008 as Continental Team and participated in the UCI Continental Circuits. Most races they sailed in Africa. Since 2013, MTN Qhubeka the first African side as a Professional Continental Team license and can thus also at the invitation race at the UCI World Tour start. On March 17, 2013, the team with Gerald Ciolek won his first World Tour race with the spring classic Milan - Sanremo.

Manager of the team is Douglas Ryder, who is supported by Tiaan Meyer pot as sporting director. To the coaching staff came in 2012, also the former German cyclist Jens Zemke, who had previously worked as sports director at the Cervélo TestTeam and HTC -Highroad.
