MTT Turbine Superbike

The MTT Turbine SUPERBIKE ( also known by its unofficial designation Y2K) is a motorcycle with gas turbine drive manufacturer Marine Turbine Technologies ( MTT). It is currently the fastest production motorcycle street legal. Since 2000, five units were built annually. The price of 175,000 U.S. dollars a lifetime warranty on the turbine is included.

General Description

Christian Travert, a former racing driver and conversion specialist, was entrusted with the project management. The frame is made of aluminum profile and is significantly longer than usual; front springs a fork, rear monoshock suspension. The drive

The drive consists of an Allison 250 gas turbine, which were used in helicopters of the type Bell 206.
