Mū Kanazaki (Japanese金 崎 梦 生, Kanazaki Mū / Muu; * February 16, 1989 in Tsu, Mie Prefecture) is a Japanese football player.

Career

In 2009 Mū Kanazaki debuted for the Japanese national soccer team. He has played a total of five caps for Japan. Mū Kanazaki moved free transfer on January 30, 2013 1 FC Nuremberg after his contract had expired at Nagoya Grampus. He signed a contract until 30 June 2014 with an option for two more seasons. The 23- year-old can be used in the midfield in all three attacking positions. His league debut came on 17 February 2013 ( 22 Matchday) in a 2-2 draw at home against Hannover 96 Substitutes for Mike Frantz in the 63rd minute. The next game at VfB Stuttgart, he was even chosen, but was changed again in the mid-term. After that, he could not establish himself in the team. He came to two shorter use and has been used three times in the second team to find the connection. On 2 September 2013, Kanazaki finally joined the Portuguese second division Portimonense SC.
