Mu Ko Ang Thong National Park

The National Park Mu Ko Ang Thong ( Thai อุทยานแห่งชาติ หมู่ เกาะ อ่างทอง, RTGS: Uthayan haeng chat mu ko ang thong, English: Mu Ko Ang Thong National Park ) is a national park in Thailand, which comprises a group of 42 islands in the Gulf of Thailand. The islands of Ang Thong is part of the province of Surat Thani belonging Samui Archipelago ( Muu Ko Samui) and are located a few kilometers west of the main islands of Samui and Phangan.

The national park was founded on 12 November 1980 are around 102 km ², of which 18 km ² land area. The islands that rise up to 400 meters from the average in this area only 10 meters deep sea, consist of limestone.
