Muan County

Muan ( Muan -gun ) is a county in the province of Jeollanam -do in South Korea. To the southwest lies the city of Mokpo, in the west of the Yellow Sea with numerous, the district Sinan islands belonging to the north lies the district Hampyeong, Naju to the east and south of the county Yeongam.

2005, the seat of government of the province was moved here from the independent of the province Gwangju to the village of Namak. An international airport is under construction and will replace in Gwangju and Mokpo the airports.
