Mudar Badran
Mudar Badran (Arabic مضر بدران; * 1934 in Gerasa ) was three times Prime Minister of Jordan.
His first term lasted from July 13, 1976 to December 19, 1979, the second on 28 August 1980 to 10 January 1984, the third of 4 December 1989 to 19 June 1991.
In 1956 he finished his studies at Damascus University with degrees in law and financial economics. He served as Chancellor of the Military Court of the Jordanian army. In 1965, he was Deputy Director of Intelligence for foreign espionage, and in 1968 director of general education. From 1973 to 1974, Badran was Minister of Education.
He was also foreign minister from 1976 to 1979 and during most of the time as prime minister, defense minister at the same time.
Badran is married and has four children. His brother Adnan Badran 2005 was Prime Minister.
