Mueang Chainat District

Amphoe Mueang Chainat ( Thai: อำเภอ เมือง ชัยนาท ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the province of Chainat. The Chainat Province is located in the central region of Thailand. The provincial capital is also called Chainat Chainat.

Location

Chainat is located in the north central region on Maenam Chaophraya. The city is has always been a trading center for goods of all kinds

Neighboring districts ( from east clockwise): Amphoe the Sapphaya, Sankhaburi, Hankha, Wat Sing and Manorom the province of Chainat and Amphoe Takhli of Nakhon Sawan.

Management

Amphoe Mueang Chainat is ( tambon) divided into nine municipalities that continue in 81 villages ( Muban ) are divided.

The city ( Mueang thesaban ) Chainat ( Thai: เทศบาล เมือง ชัยนาท ) Tambon Nai Mueang covers the whole and parts of the tambon Ban Kluai, Tha Chai and Khao Tha Phra.

In addition, there are five small towns ( thesaban tambon) in the district:

  • Chainat ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล ชัยนาท ) consists of the whole tambon Chainat,
  • Has Tha Sao ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล หาด ท่า เสา ) consists of the whole tambon Tha Sao Hat,
  • Suea Hok ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล เสือ โฮก ) consists of the whole tambon Suea Hok,
  • Ban Kluai ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล บ้าน กล้วย ) consists of parts of tambon Ban Kluai,
  • Nang Lue ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล นาง ลือ ) consists of the whole tambon Nang Lue.

There are also three - Tambon administrative organizations ( " Tambon Administrative Organizations" - TAO, Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล ) in the district.
