Mueang Ranong District

Amphoe Mueang Ranong ( Thai: อำเภอ เมือง ระนอง ) is a district ( Amphoe ) in the Thai province of Ranong. The capital of the district Mueang Ranong Ranong is also called.

Geography

The Ranong province is located in the south of Thailand in the Isthmus of Kra.

Neighboring districts (from north clockwise): Amphoe La -un the province of Ranong, Amphoe Phato Chumphon Province and Amphoe Kapoe turn in Ranong. To the west, beyond the estuary of Maenam Kraburi ( Kraburi River ) the Tanintharyi Division of Myanmar lies.

Management

Amphoe Mueang Ranong is ( tambon) divided into nine municipalities that continue in 39 villages ( Muban ) are divided.

The city ( Mueang thesaban ) Ranong covers the whole tambon Khao Niwet.

There are also two small towns ( Tambon thesaban ): Ngao and parts of the tambon Paknam consist of the same name.

In addition, there are eight " Tambon Administrative Organizations" ( TAO - administrative units ).
