Mueang Sa Kaeo District

Amphoe Mueang Sa Kaeo ( Thai อำเภอ เมือง สระแก้ว ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the province of Sa Kaeo. The Sa Kaeo province is located in the eastern region of Thailand, but is regarded administratively to Central Thailand. The capital of the province of Sa Kaeo is also called Sa Kaeo.

Geography

Neighboring districts are (from north clockwise): Amphoe Khon Buri of Nakhon Ratchasima, Amphoe Watthana Nakhon and the Khao Chakan the province of Sa Kaeo and Amphoe Kabin Buri and Na Di of the province of Prachinburi.

Management

Amphoe Mueang Sa Kaeo is in eight communities ( tambon) divided, further in 124 villages ( Muban ) are divided.

The city ( Mueang thesaban ) Sa Kaeo ( Thai: เทศบาล เมือง สระแก้ว ) covers parts of the tambon Sa Kaeo and Tha Kasem.

There are also two small towns ( Tambon thesaban ):

• Tha Kasem ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล ท่า เกษม ) consists of parts of the tambon Tha Kasem,
• Lamduan Sala ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล ศาลา ลำดวน ) consists of parts of the tambon Sala Lamduan.

In addition, there are eight " Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations) in the district.
