Muggenhof (Nuremberg U-Bahn)

Metro Station Muggenhof (abbreviation: MU) is the 20th Metro Station of the Nuremberg U- Bahn and is served by the line U1. It is 953 meters from the city border metro station and 858 meters from the Eberhardshof Metro Station. History

The station is part of the elevated railway in the Fürth road that was created between September 6, 1967, and the autumn of 1970 in connection with the construction of the expressway francs. On November 4, 1970, the station was first opened to the tram and traveled to 20 June 1981 by her. This was followed by the approximately one-year renovation period, to bring the building and the railway stations to metro standard; inter alia, the platforms were placed at 1 m above rail level and elevators retrofitted. Location

The station is located in the district of Nuremberg Muggenhof and extends into high position in east-west direction across the junction Fürth / Adolf Braun / Sigmund road between Fox and Tassilostraße. Building and Architecture
