Muhammad Ahmad Mahgoub

Muhammad Ahmad Mahdschub ( Muhammad Ahmad Mahgoub ) (* 1908 in ad - Duwaim, † June 23, 1976 in Khartoum ) was a politician, lawyer and writer. He was also Prime Minister of Sudan.

Mahdschub was from before July 1956 until the military coup in November 1958 Foreign Minister of Sudan. From 1964 until May 1965 he was once again working as a foreign minister. His first term as Prime Minister began on June 10, 1965 and lasted until July 25, 1966.

His second term was dated 18 May 1967, and was terminated by another military coup on 25 May 1969. From 1967 to 1968 he was also active for the third time as Foreign Minister.

Mahdschub lived long after his political career in London, but later returned to Sudan and died of natural causes at his home in Khartoum.
