Muhammad Jamiruddin Sarkar

Jamiruddin Sircar ( Bengali: জমীরুদ্দিন সরকার, Jamīruddin Sarkar; born December 1, 1931 in Nayabari, Bengal ) is a Bangladeshi lawyer and acclaimed author in international law matters. As a longtime chairman of Parliament he was due to the resignation of AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury in June 2002 for several months President of the Republic of Bangladesh. He is also co-founder of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party.

Biography

Jamiruddin Sircar comes from a village in the district Panchagarh located in the modern state Bangledesh.
