Mühbrook

Mühbrook is a municipality in the Einfelder lake and Dosenmoor in the district of Rendsburg -Eckernförde in Schleswig -Holstein. Hohenhorst is in the 5.3 square kilometer large municipal territory, which extends as far north as the Bordesholmer lake. To the Einfelder See a hiking and biking trail is expanded.

History

The village Muthebroge 1238 mentioned as Adolf IV ( Schauenburg and Holstein) gave the tithe to the monastery Neumünster.

Economy

From a small agricultural town located Mühbrook has profoundly influenced by the proximity to Neumünster, residential and commercial now dominate Mühbrook. Therefore, the site was proposed in 1998 for a village development planning. Based on these planning the industrial area Tökshorst was established.

Recreation

As part of the mission statement " green tourism and recreation " Mühbrooker the Bay of Einfelder lake was remodeled and the eco-cultural path " the Einfelder viewpoints " is created around the lake. Furthermore, a recreational area at the former village school was established.
