The mill water is a 11.25 km long, left or southern tributary of Erpe in the city of Wolf Hagen, North Hesse district of Kassel, Hesse.

Course

The mill water flows throughout the nature park Hawk Forest. It rises south of Istha, the south-eastern district of Wolf Hagen. Its headwaters lies in a meadow and arable land about 620 m (straight line ) northwest of the junction of state road 520 in the of Istha in the north to Balhorn ( part of municipality Bad Emstal ) in the south leading B 450 to about 345 m above sea level. The mill water initially flows in west-north- westerly direction through strong agriculturally used land south-west and west of the massive Isthabergs and runs after crossing the B over 251 north to Bründersen, a southern Wolfhager district. After passing the county road 107, about leading a section of the German Fairy Tale Road, it passes through the deserted village of Hausen and death flows through a nature reserve with water containers. A little further west flows around the stream after passing through the deserted village of Gran east of the small settlement Wolfhager Gran box Graner mountain on which the airport is Wolf Hagen- Graner Mountain is located.

A little further north runs through the mill water Wolfhager the core city. Therein it happens in flowing through the city park, where the right side of the Limeckebach opens, the Wolf Hagen castle and the easternmost city center with numerous half-timbered houses and the Kattenturm.
