Muisi Ajao

Muisi Ajao ( born December 2, 1978 in Lagos ) is a former Nigerian football player. It can be used on the center-back position as well as in defensive midfield.

Club career

Ajao, nicknamed The Beast, came over the Nigerian clubs Shooting Stars FC and Bendel Insurance for Belgian club Cercle Brugge, for he came to five Erstligaeinsätzen in the season 1996/97. Ajao then returned to Africa and signed for South African first division club Kaizer Chiefs, whom he left after one season back in order to join the league rivals Mamelodi Sundowns.

With the Sundowns Ajao twice won the South African Championships (1999 and 2000) and once the internal league cup competition (1999). 2001 reached to the final of the CAF Champions League, but was there against the Egyptian Al- Ahly Cairo representatives chance. Ajao did not play in the finals. He was released together with numerous other players from his contract in 2002.

In the Vietnamese V-League, he found 2003 Quảng Nam- Da Nang a new club, for whom he played for two years. Over subsequent stations are no reliable data before, so he completed tryouts in Bahrain, India, and South Africa. 2005/ 06 he played at the then defunct South African club Bush Bucks, he was out of contract in late 2008.

National

Ajao came to at least one use for the Nigerian national team. In the 1-2 defeat in September 2001 in a friendly against South Korea, he managed to interim management results.
