Mukachevo Raion
The Mukachevo Raion (Ukrainian Мукачівський район / Mukatschiwskyj rayon; Russian Мукачевский район / Mukatschewski raion ) is a administrative division in the extreme west of Ukraine and part of the Transcarpathian Oblast.
For administrative area include:
- 2 settlements of urban type
- 86 villages
The city of Mukachevo is enclosed by the administrative field, but is not itself a part of it and is under the oblast administration.
From 1946 to April 1, 1995 following places wore a different name:
- Barbowo: Borodiwka ( Бородівка )
- Derzen: Dryssina ( Дрисіна )
- Fornosch: Liskowe ( Ліскове )
- Schenborn: Nowe Selo ( Нове Село )
- Serne: Rivne ( Рівне )
