Mulligan stew (food)

The Hobo Meal is a style of food preparation that was used in America by the so-called hobos and the homeless.

The Hobos went from house to house and asked the residents to food. In particular, potatoes, onions or bacon were given. Then a fire was kindled and the collected foods were cooked in a can ( Hobokocher ) on it.

Even today, the Hobo Meal is prepared again, if you have no other opportunity to cook, especially when camping or picnics. You take aluminum foil, place them on each other in multiple layers and cuts the different ingredients to it. Then we wrapped the food in aluminum foil and place it into the fire. After appropriate cooking time, take out the package and eaten the Hobo Meal.
