Multicam

The Multicam camouflage pattern (own spelling: MultiCam ) was developed by the U.S. company Crye Precision in cooperation with the U.S. Army Soldier Systems Center. Multicam was part of the Future Force Warrior concept, the system should be included in the adjusted Future Combat. It now finds application in the Brigade Combat Team Modernization program. The camouflage pattern does not have anything to do with the introduction and use of the Army Combat Uniform ( ACU). Multicam is designed to blur the contours of the soldiers in different terrain, seasons, effects of light and infrared.

Currently there are in the U.S. Army considerations to replace the ACU introduced by Multicam because the former part has any quality defects and have geographically very limited stealth features. The British Army uses since 2010, based on Multicam Multi -Terrain Pattern nationwide.
