Munafiq

Hypocrites (Arabic منافق, plural munāfiqūn ) is an Islamic term which denotes a religious hypocrite is someone who is outwardly practiced Islam while he hides inside his disbelief ( Kufr ), possibly unknowingly. The hypocrisy is called in Islam Nifaq.

The term is munafiq in Arabic, Bengali and Urdu primarily a non-religious term that refers to a person whose act in contrast or contrary to their thoughts is that it conceals. For the purposes of the Koran, the term ultimately refers to a person who does not have faith, but pretends to have these:

"If the hypocrites ( munaafiquun ) come to you, they say: " We bear witness that you are the Messenger of Allah. " You are His Messenger, Allah knows! But ( they only do so as if they would believe it. ) Allah bears witness that the hypocrites are lying. "

In the Koran there are hundreds of Ayas ( verses ), which deal with the munāfiqūn. They state that these hypocrites are dangerous for Muslims than the worst non-Muslim enemies of Islam. In the Koran it says:

" The hypocrite ( munaafiquun ) are ( one day ) in the lowest depths of Hell, and you will find ( then ) no helper for them; "
