Munderfing
Munderfing is a municipality with 2813 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013 ) in Upper Austria in the district of Braunau am Inn in Innviertel. The competent court is the district court district Mattighofen.
Geography

History
Naming: The name Munderfing refers to the Knights Mundolf which prevailed here in the 7th century. The ending-ing indicates a Bavarian colonization.
Since the establishment of the Duchy of Bavaria, the place was Bavarian until 1779 and came to the Peace of Teschen with the Innviertel (then ' Innbaiern ') to Austria. During the Napoleonic wars again shortly Bavarian, He joined the 1814 final to Upper Austria. The football club FC Munderfing was founded in 1966 as SV Munderfing and renamed it FC Munderfing 2005.
