Catchment area of ​​the mongoose

The Mongoose is with a length of 150 kilometers, a longest rivers in Central Africa Cameroon. The river rises in the Rumpibergen. From there, it flows first east and then south to the Cameroon estuary. The Mongoose has a catchment area of approximately 4,200 square kilometers. Its catchment area covers the northern Bakossi Mountains and Mount Kupe. Many crater lakes such as Dissoni and Barombi Mbo, with their partially endemic fish stocks, the mongoose lead to smaller tributaries, such as the Uwe and Meme River, water. The west bank of the river is part of the settlement area of the people of Oroko, northern watershed area settled in the Bakossi.
