Municipal Stadium (Mexico City)

The Estadio Muncipal is a sports stadium in Mexico City. It is part of the Ciudad Deportiva sports complex de La Magdalena Mixiuhca. The Mexican government had the stadium built in 1964. The field is open, the grandstands on both sides are covered. Total find 6160 spectators. For the Summer Olympic Games in 1968, the seating capacity was increased in 1200, the courts were created with temporary grandstands at the two ends of the field. During the Olympics it hosted the Games in hockey. But the playing field has been adjusted on the basis of regulations of the Fédération Internationale de Hockey.
