Munkfors

Munkfors is a place ( tätort ) in the Swedish province of Värmland County, the historical province of Värmland.

The town is the capital and only tätort the same community. A small portion ( 9 hectares ) of the area of the village with 10 inhabitants ( 2010) belongs to the neighboring municipality of Hagfors.

Munkfors consists of the districts Munkfors, 3574 inhabitants and Ransäter, 114 inhabitants (as at 30 June 2012)
