Munro (Film)

Munro is a Czechoslovak- American animated short film by Gene Deitch from the year 1961.

Action

Munro is a small, four year old boy who never washes his face and did not want to eat or play. One day he was drafted into the U.S. Army. Since all managers too much stuck in their routine or posing with prominent inductees, Munro is actually found to be appropriate and begins his training as a soldier. Every now and then he tries to draw attention to his young age, but he is accused of, only to fancy his age or to be a malingerer, because four year olds will not feed.

Munro believes with time itself to be an adult. He now wants to be as good a soldier as any other. As new men to the Army come to be formed, showing the sergeant to him: As he should be the newcomers ultimately the Army men from cowards are separated. Munro begins to cry. The sergeant and all other accrued officials have added him to stop because he was a man and not a child. Only with time, they realize that Munro is actually a child. He is honorably discharged. It features a large reception is being held in his hometown honor. He is regarded as a hero. But if he refuses in the future, to wash his face or eat, shows him his mother only a helmet of the Army and Munro is the best-behaved boy folgsamste and the world.

Production

Munro came in September 1960 as part of Rembrandt 's beloved film series Noveltoons in the cinemas. Munro is the film version of a story of passion Ella and Other Stories by Jules Feiffer screenwriter, who incorporated therein his own time in the Army.
