Münzesheim is a district of Kraichtal in the district of Karlsruhe in the northwest of Baden- Württemberg.

Geography

Münzesheim is located in the hills of the Kraichgau on flat expiring flank of the Kraichbachtals. The district area is 1181 ha

History

828 was first mentioned as Muncinesheim, the place from 1109 to 1282 was dominated by a local noble. 1326 was the place to Baden, but he was verlehnt to the Hofwart of Kirchheim.
