Muotathal

Muotathal is a municipality in the district of Schwyz in the canton of Schwyz in Switzerland.

Geography

The community forms the southeastern part of the canton of Schwyz, on the south by the canton of Uri and on the east by the canton of Glarus. With 172.152192 km ² Muotathal one of the ten largest municipalities in terms of area of Switzerland and is almost as big as the canton train.
