Mura Statistical Region

Pomurska (Slovenian: Pomurska statistična regija ) is a statistical region in Slovenia on NUTS3 level.

The region, which is intended for statistical purposes, was introduced in May 2005. It lies in the northeast of the country and is slightly larger than the historical region of Prekmurje. It comprises a total of 27 municipalities. The largest city is Murska Sobota. In the 1337 km ² large region 122 386 people ( 2012).
