Murato, Haute-Corse
Murato ( Corsican Muratu ) is a municipality with 620 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) on the island of Corsica in France. It is the capital of the canton Le Haut - Nebbio.
Geography
To Murato next to the main settlement includes the villages Muratu Sopranu, Muratu Sottanu, Padulaccio, Cucinaja, Albarelle, Couvento, Milelli, Peru, San Giovanne, Costa di a Fornu, Campitale, Castagne, U Mucale, Poggiola and the hamlet of Patronage.
The community Murato bordered to the north and the northeast by Calle Valle, on the east by Rutali, on the southeast by Scolca, to the south Campitello, in the southwest on Bigorno, on the west by Piève and to the northwest by Rapale.
