Muret

Muret ( Occitan and Gascon Murèth ) is a commune with 24,085 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Haute- Garonne in the Midi-Pyrénées region; it is the administrative center for the district of Muret Muret and Canton.

The city is located 20 km south of Toulouse at the confluence of the Garonne and Louge.
